Ian Dawson

Director - Corporate Finance

Ian’s professional career started in the transaction advisory services team in EY’s London office, where he gained valuable experience across a number of different corporate finance departments and worked with a number of high profile corporate, private equity and public sector clients. Since then Ian has held senior M&A roles at a regional accountancy practice and a corporate finance boutique, which ultimately became part of the AMS group.

Ian is now predominately focused on advising entrepreneurial clients on mid-market business disposals, acquisitions, buy-outs and private equity transactions in the £5-£100m valuation range.

Ian has a degree in Economics from Nottingham University, is an ICAS chartered accountant and holds the Corporate Finance (CF) designation, jointly issued by the ICAEW and the CISI.

Personally, Ian enjoys spending time with his young family, working on his golf handicap, travelling and all things fitness and sports.
