Cathryn McDowell

Director, Audit and Accounts

Cathryn joined Chadwicks in 1989 as a junior audit clerk and was promoted to Audit Manager in 2000. In 2002 she became a member of the ACCA and was admitted as a Fellow in 2007. Cathryn was appointed a director of the company in February 2012.

As Audit Manager, Cathryn is responsible for managing several audits with turnover ranging from £300,000 to £17m.

Cathryn has over 30 years’ experience in dealing with Solicitor’s Accounts Rules and is responsible for a portfolio of clients covering manufacturing, retail, wholesale, corporate and non-corporate businesses. Cathryn also has a special interest in professional practices.

Away from the office she enjoys spending time with her family, trips to the cinema and theatre, reading, is a Manchester City season ticket holder and walking with friends and The Ramblers.
