Matthew Stambach

Matt started his career in tax with HMRC having worked as a PAYE and Self Assessment adviser. Moving into practice 3 years later with a small Altrincham based firm. Having qualified as a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians, Matt moved firstly onto UHY Hacker Young and then into his first senior role with a small Manchester based firm, in which he became Head of Private Client Tax.
After a short stint at a small advisory based firm, Matt’s enthusiasm for business development, meeting new people and problem solving lead him to take up the role of Client Engagement Director here at AMS Group.
Matt has a strong background in Private Client Tax, but has an excellent level of knowledge across broader areas of tax. Matt’s key roles will be to help drive business into the group through collaboration with division heads, thought leadership and targeted networking both locally and internationally.
In his spare time, Matt loves sport (particularly football & basketball) and loves to travel (especially road trips!)
